Glen Boss was in the saddle when JETTY stepped up his preparations for a racetrack return with a trial at the Gold Coast on Monday morning.
The 3YO was in hot form over the summer, with one win and three minor placings from his last four starts.
Having been freshened up following back-to-back runner-up finishes behind smart galloper Tycoon Evie at Eagle Farm, the son of JET SPUR recently returned to the Edmonds Racing stable and improved his residual fitness with a third in the trial.
“I thought he trialled pretty well,” said Toby Edmonds.
“He was quite fresh and bouncy as usual, but here in the stables he’s starting to relax much better in his work and is doing what he should be doing instead of being naughty.
“Bossy thought he’d need another trial before he goes back to the races and I do too, he got rid of some nervous energy and with one more trial under his belt he should be cherry ripe.”
With two wins on his CV and $158,850 already in the bank, JETTY has become an extremely consistent performer and we’re very excited about his winter campaign.
