HOME COMFORTS FOR EXTREME FREEDOM

EXTREME FREEDOM surged past $100,000 for our partners thanks to a bit of magic from Tommy Berry at Kembla Grange on Friday.

The pair now have two wins and a placing from their four rides in tandem after EXTREME FREEDOM’s latest success on his home track, which has proved a very happy hunting ground.

The son of Turn Me Loose has been racing very consistently so far this prep, and he got his just desserts thanks to a rail-hugging ride by Berry.

With the field fanning out in the home straight, Berry opted to sneak down the inside and the move proved a winning one as EXTREME FREEDOM powered home to register his fourth career victory.

“He really deserved that win,” said Berry.

“The plan wasn’t to get that far back in the run, but he finished really strong. The way he felt today and now that he’s not pulling as hard, I definitely think he’ll be capable of stepping back up to 2000 metres. His breathing was great and he relaxed nicely, so the extra distance shouldn’t be a problem.”

Many congratulations to our partners: Maxon, The Speculators, Mr J G Byrne, Mr D Condon, Mr X Rigotti, Mr M A Spagndo, Mr J D Johnston, K C M B, Shouldwegeta, Mr A R Beresford, Mr T J Webster, Mr M J O'Neil, Mr R Cutrie, Mr A J Straney, Mr A Nunan, Mr M P Dignam, Mr B L Clarke and Last Minute Club.
