Strong Bloodstock was founded and created by Blake Armstrong and John McPhillips. Industry professionals with a passion for racing.

We focus on the experience our owners have on and off the track. We pride ourselves on the communication and content we provide to our owners and back it up with the honesty we pass on with our thoroughbreds. We have a big emphasis on the social side of horse ownership, we want all our partners to enjoy the excitement of being with us every step of the way throughout the career of their racehorse.

We are particular on our selection of horses, we focus on quality over quantity. We purchase in partnership with trainers we can trust to communicate with us, be honest with us and of course get the best out of the horses.

We race our horses in Queensland and New South Wales and to date have had plenty of success over the years. We encourage all walks of life to join us, we have first time owners involved with us through to industry recognised names and everything in between. We focus on affordable race horse ownership, we believe everyone should enjoy the thrill of a win once in their life time.

CAREER EARNINGS: Won over $242,000 in prizemoney and counting

CAREER HIGHLIGHT Won the Scone 2YO Challenge on debut

VEGAS RAIDER made a fairytale start to his racing career for trainer David Pfieffer, storming home from the tail of the field to win the big-money $200,000 Inglis 2YO Challenge (1100m) on debut at Scone in May, 2022.

Purchased from the Inglis HTBA Sale for just $38,000 just over 12 months earlier, VEGAS RAIDER provided his owners with an immediate return on investment with a handsome cheque for $136,750,

The barnstorming win was made all the more impressive by the fact that our boy jumped from the second widest gate, and the heavy track conditions made it very difficult to make up any ground on the leaders on the day.

But VEGAS RAIDER turned on the afterburners and peeled off some sizzling sectionals to round up his rivals and make the best possible start to his racing career.

He has continued to show ability with age with a further two wins including a tough front running display at metropolitan grade in NSW.

PURCHASED: $30,000 (Magic Millions)

CAREER EARNINGS: OVER $500,000 AND COUNTING

CAREER WINS: 8

JETTY has proved to be one our favourites over the years, with the consistent gelding taking our partners on a wonderful ride since making his debut as a two-year-old.

Purchased from the Magic Millions for just $30,000, JETTY has already earned his connections over $500,000 in prizemoney courtesy of eight career victories.

Racing in some of the best form of his career at age five, JETTY is showing no signs of slowing down.

Despite having his quirks, trainer Chris Munce has been able to get the best out of him on raceday which has seen him develop a real affinity racing on his home track at Eagle Farm.

SUNSET SOIREE

Has made an impressive start to her career with five career wins from 13 starts to date including two metropolitan wins. At only her second preparation the 4 year old by Deep Field continues to develop and show her versitily with wins from 1200 - 1800m.

Look to see her line up in the QLD winter carnival in 2024 for trainer Tony Gollan, if she can manage to secure some black type she will become a valuable asset to her ownership group
