EXTREME FREEDOM BREAKS LOOSE

A perfectly-rated front-running ride by Tommy Berry helped EXTREME FREEDOM break his maiden at Kembla Grange yesterday.

In the second race of his second prep, Berry sent EXTREME FREEDOM to the front from the wide alley and after slackening the tempo mid-race, the pair pulled clear in the home straight and fought gamely to the line to score by a length.

It was Berry’s first ride on EXTREME FREEDOM since they teamed up to finish second on debut at Hawkesbury, and the step up to 1500m suited the son of Turn Me Loose right down to the ground.

The determined effort was also further proof of the big boy’s growing maturity, and earned connections a handy $19,700 payday.

Whilst he’s still got plenty to learn, the 3YO has already made big strides under the watchful eyes of Rob and Luke Price, and hopefully there’s even brighter days ahead for him.

Congratulations to our partners, we hope they had something on at the $14 starting price!
