After her last-start win at the Sunshine Coast, COOL INTELLIGENCE will make the long trip to Mackay on Tuesday to line up in the Three-Year-Old Benchmark 65 Handicap (1100m).
The 3YO filly got through the testing conditions at the Sunshine Coast superbly well, and will head north with plenty of confidence after scoring her maiden victory in her first outing for new trainer Tom Button.
Tuesday’s QTIS 3YO Benchmark 65 Handicap over 1100m is the prelude to her Grand Final, the inaugural edition of the $105,000 Northern Jewel 3YO Handicap at Mackay on Saturday, 29 May.
Our girl will be ridden on Tuesday by Nathan Thomas, with the pair set to jump from the inside gate in the 10-runner field.
