VAPORIZING again showcased his consistency when fighting out the finish in a narrow second at Ipswich on Wednesday.
Coming off a slashing last-to-first victory at his previous start, VAPORIZING again took owners on a rollercoaster ride when looming as the winner, only to be narrowly out-bobbed on the line.
Whilst it was a tough pill to swallow, our boy once again did us proud and extended his impressive record this preparation to two wins and three minor placings from five starts and almost $40,000 banked for connections.
VAPORIZING will now head out for a short freshen-up before returning to Tony Gollan’s stables next week.
“He’s come through the run well and did some work on the treadmill, we’ll give him a seven-day freshen up then look to bring him back either for a Benchmark 75 race at Eagle Farm on November 6th, or there’s also a good option the following Wednesday at Ipswich," said Gollan.
“The horse is in very good shape, and if he maintains his form and gets the right run there’s no reason why he won’t be very competitive again going forward.”
