SUNSET SOIREE kicked off her career in winning fashion with an impressive debut victory at the Sunshine Coast.
The three-year-old Deep Field filly showed an electric turn of foot to score by over two lengths with her ears pricked under the urgings of Kyle Wilson-Taylor.
SUNSET SOIREE pulled up well from the victory and trainer Tony Gollan said he would now give her three weeks before her next assignment.
"She's done well to win at her first outing because she's a filly that will improve a whole lot off that," said Gollan.
"She'll run again in three weeks at Ipswich on January 7 or the following Wednesday at Doomben.
"But she's come through the run really well and we'll head back to the races in three weeks time."
