Congratulations to our Eagle Farm based trainer Chris Munce, who added another 2YO Stakes Winner to his tally with the win of RHAPSODY ROSE at Doomben last Saturday.
Since turning his attention to training several years ago, the former Champion jockey has developed a reputation for getting the best out of his two-year-olds and that theme has continued with RHAPSODY ROSE, who took out the Listed Bill Carter Stakes.
This weekend he has a two-pronged attack in the $1 Million Sires Produce Stakes at Eagle Farm with RHAPSODY ROSE and BERDINI'S GIRL, so we wish him the best of luck.
His continued success with 2YOs gives us even more reason to be excited about our Magic Millions March Yearling Sale Purchase with the Munce Racing team - an athletic colt by HEADWATER out of ROSES FOR MARGO (pictured below in action at Fenwick Farm last week).
Both Chris and bloodstock agent Julian Blaxland have a big opinion of this colt and renowned pre-trainer Greg Bennett (who helped prepare the trifecta in this year's Magic Millions 2YO Classic) has also been impressed with his progress during his educational preparation at Fenwick Farm.
