KING KAPA CONQUERS AGAIN!

After extending his picket fence to four wins in a row at Eagle Farm on Saturday, KING KAPA now heads to the paddock for a well earned rest in preparation for a tilt at the Brisbane Winter Carnival.

KING KAPA took the step up in grade and return to Eagle Farm all in his stride, as he relished the lighter weight for the Class 6 in a dominant performance.

The son of Capitalist really showed a penchant for Saturday metropolitan racing as he relaxed well into the race with Ryan Maloney on board and never looked challenged.

Trainer Tony Gollan was pleased with our boy as he continues his unbeaten run for the Gollan stable.

“He’s got a good future ahead of him, he’s come through Saturday’s run well and we’ll give him a short little break and get him back for the winter,” said Gollan.

Our owners are also enjoying seeing him perform on Saturdays, with the win taking his career prizemoney close to $200,000.

Excitingly for connections Gollan is also positive in the long term.

“I think he’ll have a good home in our Winter carnival, but I’m really, really sure when we get to our summer carnival later this year he could be a real summer star this horse”.

BEFANA also put in a huge run at Eagle Farm on Saturday finishing third at the juicy odds of $11 for the place!

Our Lindsay Hatch trained girl produced a great finish in an encouraging return to form in what was a strong Class 3 race.
