BRAVE WIN WAS ON THE AGENDA

BRAVE AGENDA relished the step-up in distance to the 1600m to record a strong front-running victory for new trainer Tony Gollan at Gatton on Thursday.

Stepping up to the mile at start no. 3 since relocating to Queensland, the Brave Smash filly was sent straight to the front by rider Angela Jones and despite being pestered by several of her rivals in the run, was able to outlast them all to score by 1.3 lengths running away.

Gollan said the performance highlighted any doubts about her running out a strong 1600m.

"She did a great job this girl, she was made to work quite a lot in the run," said Gollan.

"She got pressured a bit but when she was there to be beaten, she actually drew away late.

"It was good to see her bounce back."

Congratulations to her owners: Strong Bloodstock, Mr D M Willmette, R W Franks, Mr J Gallagher, K C M B, Crisis Racing, Mr D Nelson, Mr T Kudla, Mrs K Orchard, Mr M Daniel, Mrs L Bartlett, Mr C M Philp and Polglase Racing.
