BOSS MODE DOMINATES IN HIS MAIDEN VICTORY

After a string of encouraging performances that suggested his turn was close, Boss Mode delivered in emphatic fashion on the weekend, breaking through for a dominant maiden victory. He had been knocking on the door in recent starts, racing consistently well and showing plenty of promise, and it was only a matter of time before everything came together.
The addition of blinkers proved to be a key factor, helping sharpen his focus and allowing him to travel strongly throughout the race. Combined with a well-judged ride, Boss Mode settled comfortably before asserting his superiority when the pressure went on.
When asked to extend, he quickly put the race beyond doubt, powering away from his rivals to score by almost three lengths in a commanding performance. It was an authoritative win that reflected the ability he has been hinting at and rewarded the patience shown by connections.
The victory also marks another winner for the Strong Bloodstock and Tony Gollan racing combination, a partnership that continues to produce excellent results on the track. Adding further value to the success, Boss Mode was also able to pick up valuable QTIS bonus prizemoney, providing an extra reward for his owners and highlighting the benefits of racing quality Queensland-bred horses.
It was a well-deserved breakthrough for Boss Mode and his connections, and judging by the manner of the win, he looks a horse capable of continuing to progress through the grades as his preparation unfolds.
